Chris Snyder, a catcher with the Arizona Diamondbacks, was placed on the DL Tuesday with a testicular fracture that will require surgery. Snyder was hit by a foul tip in the 4th inning of Mondays game and had to leave the game.

Now here is my question.... HOW IN THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? He was wearing a cup so what are the odds of him being hit in just a particular spot that the cup doesnt cover and it causing a fracture to his testicle? Holy crap! Im hurting just writing about it..... Oh and by the way it was his left nut!

I dont know what else to say about this and im gonna file this one in the weirdest sports injuries file.....

Man my nuts are hurting just thinking about it.....

Choking Flop and I will destroy your team award

Victor Martinez - This guy was a keeper and drafted in the early rounds and has been a huge flop. He has given teams zero production and is now out another 6 weeks with an injury. Runner up - Travis Hafner

Where the hell did I come from award

Edison Volquez - This guy was the return player in the Josh Hamilton trade and has been nothing short of amazing all year. Up until his last start he had not given up more than 3 ER in a game. Runner up - Cliff Lee

Where are they now award

Andruw Jones - This guy was a top 10 round fantasy player who you could count on to hit 30+ HR's and 100+ RBI's but he got stuck in a platoon in the Dodgers OF and then got hurt and is still on the DL. Runner up - Dontrelle Willis

One Week Wonder Award

Marcus Thames - This guy hit 8 of his 14 HR between June 11th and June 21st. If you had him on your team that week, like I did, then you were very happy. He has yet to do much since then with the return of Gary Sheffield. Runner up - Jay Bruce
