Jeff Smardzija- This guy is the real deal! He can throw in the upper 90's and he will get you strikeouts and an occasional win out of the bullpen. Dont expect him to be the closer while Kerry Wood is recovering, although he did get the save Sunday due to Marmol throwing 30+ pitches the day before.

My waiver pick up of the week is Adam "not pacman" Jones of the Baltimore Orioles. He is a highly touted 5 tool prospect who is started to come into his own. I would take a chance on this guy in the second half.
